About RailwayHelper
RailwayHelper tells you the exact day and minute IRCTC (Indian Railway Catering and Tourism Corporation, the Indian Railways booking website and app) opens booking for your train, so you are logged in when it opens and not a day late.
Why it exists
Most booking date calculators subtract 60 days from the date you type. Booking actually follows the day your train leaves its first station. If you board a long-distance train on its second day, those calculators are a day late. RailwayHelper asks when your train started and counts from there.
Where the rules come from
Every rule on this site comes from a Railway Board commercial circular or an official notice, linked at the foot of the page that uses it. When a rule changes, the calculator changes with it and the page shows the date it was last checked.
What it is not
RailwayHelper is not IRCTC, CRIS or Indian Railways, and it does not sell tickets or take any payment. Book on irctc.co.in, the IRCTC app, an authorised agent or a railway counter.
