Contact

Write to myrailwayhelper@gmail.com.

Mail is read every day. A reported date error is checked against the Railway Board circular the same day and, if we were wrong, the IRCTC 60 days calculator and the IRCTC booking rule changes page are corrected in the next build. Everything else gets a reply within 2 working days.

Reporting a wrong date

Send the journey date, the train number, your boarding station and the date RailwayHelper showed. If IRCTC showed something different, a screenshot helps. The most common cause is a train that left its first station the day before you board; the advance reservation period page explains why that moves the opening day.

Reminders

To see, add to or stop your reminders, use My reminders with the email you signed up with. Phone notifications have no email; use the stop link in the notification. The reminders page explains each channel.

Tickets, refunds and PNR problems

RailwayHelper cannot see or change bookings. For those, contact IRCTC through irctc.co.in or call the railway helpline 139. For what a cancellation costs, the refund calculator has the IRCTC bands; for a waitlisted ticket at chart time, see the waiting list rules.

Corrections and sources

Every rule on the site is listed with its source on how we check the rules. If a circular has changed something we show, send the circular number or a link to the official notice and it will be updated.
